Synchronized swimming is one of the world’s most underrated sports. Let’s face it, nobody thinks about it and this is not fair because this sport can be described with just one word: astonishing.
I don’t want to sound cheesy, but synchronized swimming is truly amazing. One interesting fact about it is that men are not allowed to participate at it. I know what you think, you think discrimination, but com on now, do you imagine men sensually waving their legs in air? Now I’m sorry I had to picture this. Back to our sheeps now. I mean ladies.
The performance you are about to watch belongs to Spain’s national team. They pulled off this jaw dropping routine at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships that took place in Rome, Italy. And for this they chose maybe the best song ever, Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven”.
