Meet Panda. She is two and a half years old and loves to hug her owner’s baby bump.
“She bonded with me instantly! She sleeps with me, cuddles with me… Once I got pregnant she started following me around the house, tucking her head on my belly, purring,” the cat’s owner Liel Ainmar Assayag said.
’’When I got pregnant, Panda started following me everywhere, laying her head on my belly, as if she wanted to keep the baby safe’’, – says Liel, Panda’s owner.
The cat guarded her owner’s belly her whole pregnancy.
After 9 months Liel’s (the owner) baby arrived and Panda almost instantly recognized him and accepted him as her brother. Now she always tries to guard her “baby brother”. On top of this, if the baby wakes up in the middle of the night, Panda alerts Liel.
“Now, 3 months later, she jumps on the bed near him, smells him, sits next to him. You can clearly see she loves him from the beginning!” she said.
But Panda isn’t the only fur ball in the house who tries to protect little Sean. He has other furry friends to give him love and comfort.
